HEALING IS NOT ABOUT TIME. HEALING IS ABOUT WHAT YOU DO DURING THIS TIME.
I wish I knew this earlier..
But this is your sign to do it differently.
To heal with intention, not just time.
To stop repeating the same cycles and start choosing your way out.
This is your guide for some ideas to help you through your healing journey.
It really helped me, and reflected on my whole personality during and after my healing era.
It all started when I read this quote

This quote completely changed my life, not the quote itself, but the pause it created.
That pause where you stop and acknowledge that you’re in charge of this.
It’s your choice.
It’s your life.
There’s no timeline, but the sooner you realize that, the better.
Will you keep living the same way, repeating the same coping mechanisms to survive your dark days… as usual?
Or will you try something different this time?
Are you ready??
It’s you who decides — whether to keep self-sabotaging or to start owning your responsibility.
Now I’ll share some tips I previously shared on a different platform, along with a few more that I’ve collected since:

1- Set boundaries in your next relationships:
Decide on your new boundaries.
Write them down — so they stay clear in your mind.
And when you feel like you’re stepping outside one of them, PAUSE.
Step back. Stick to what the healed version of you would allow.

2- STOP telling everyone everything:
Some things are meant to stay private.
Now’s the time to start bonding with yourself.
You’ll slowly stop craving external validation, and it will feel so freeing.

3- Do more things alone:
I know, it might feel awkward and kinda heavy at first.
Especially if you’re not used to it. Your mind might go “They’re probably looking at me with pity.”
But let me tell you something: NOBODY CARES.
Eventually — TRUST ME — you’ll learn to show up confidently on your own.

4- Trust yourself. Set new standards. Don’t settle for less:
There’s no such thing as “I’m not worthy of this” or “I’ve had worse, so this is okay.”
That’s your past talking.
You can wake up any day and decide on new boundaries for the version you’re becoming.

5- Emotions can control your decisions during arguments:
During this time, do your best to stay grounded.
Take a step back before responding emotionally.
And most importantly, don’t take everything personally.

6- Acknowledge your emotional TRIGGERS!
Reflect on your past. Talk to a therapist.
Work on your needs and values.. whether consciously or subconsciously (like through family constellations).
This will help you uncover the unmet need you’ve been carrying — and that’s where healing begins.

7- Make new friends:
Step outside your old circles.
Meet people who’ve only seen your new version.
And the key? Be genuinely interested in who they are.
Let them talk about their stories, their joys, the things they love, and then engage and find common interest and simply be YOU.

8- Don’t expect anything from anyone:
Not everyone has the same level of awareness, emotional depth, or courage to face their traumas like you do.
Release the expectations. Set yourself free.

9- You ATTRACT what you ARE:
If you’re not happy with what you’re attracting, work on you first.
For example: if you’re attracting emotionally unavailable men, maybe they’re just mirroring something within you.
Maybe you just need some time away from intense emotions.
You’ll be surprised how much your perspective on people shifts along the way.

10- Let it HURT. Let it HEAL. Then let it GO.
Healing is not linear.
Some days will feel heavy.
Some days you’ll shine.
But please remember this:
During your healing era, you’ll meet people obsessed with your energy.
But this time… don’t waste what you’ve built on people who aren’t even working on themselves.
Don’t let them drain what you’ve fought so hard to restore.
